Thank you everyone who helped make our Fall Equinox Celebration a success!  We had a great time out at the Lake Houston Wilderness Park.  During the rite the cold front sauntered through and all the rain that was threatened went around us.  :)

We took the omen during the rite and it took me a while to interpret it.  It was a little dark and we took a very grainy picture of it.  I’ve since been able to go over it and get a better idea of what the gods are trying to tell us.

This rite was done in the traditional Celtic Cross lay out.

1. The Star – We have a lot of hope for the future.  I have been contemplating getting all our paperwork together for Provisional Grove status and much of this may be part of that.

2. Two of Swords – a Military like truce, a serious decision needs to be made.

3. Strength – Being the eye of the hurricane.  Having grace in a stressful situation.

4. 10 of Wands.  Taking on too much responsibility.  This was in the position of being in the past.  This would be very true.  We’ve tried this before and it fell apart.  Too much drama and upheaval has been a perennial problem.  The gods don’t mince words.

5. 7 of Penticals.  Learning patience.  Wait and see what all your work will bring you at harvest.  Something we have needed to learn.

6. Justice.  A legal decision will be needed.  Sounds a lot like that paperwork to me.  Logic and a lot of thought will be needed to work through this.

7. Knight of Wands.  (The way people have seen us)  We’ve been impulsive and in too much a hurry.

8. Judgement.  We need to set all our ducks in a row and see what we already have.

9. King of Penticals.  We need to take the reigns and do what we need to do to accomplish this once and for all

10.  10 of Swords.  I have to admit, this one through me for a loop when I saw it.  What it means that we could have drama.  But it also can mean that we’ve come too and survived the darkest point  we will ever see.  We are at the last hill.  From all that I have seen in this layout, we need to get all our resources together and take that last hill.
